Does anyone know how much % your immun system drops when you are on Immunosuppressive drugs? I'm on Cellcept 500mg, and Cyclosporine 25mg. Any Ideas? %%%%%

Thanks for any feed back :-)

Hi Rick

Very interesting question. I would imagine this answer would be based on comparing dosage and serum levels between individuals.

There are so many other factors that can affect our immune systems such as the foods we eat, our environment, emotional health and how healthy are our vital organs are.

I am a big believer in eating healthy foods to combat the side effects from our drugs.
I have seen this with my health and that is why I believe this to be true for me. All my labs are normal despite taken large dosages of transplant drugs.

Just wanted to add if you are very curious about this

You can conduct your own study by writing down how you feel, what you are eating, how much water you drink and compare this from one lab to the next every time you make a change in something you are doing for the better. You could compare and see what things you are doing that can improve your health. Of course many of your answers will be hypothetical but if you are on track to make yourself healthier, it would be a very interesting to see results.

Always take your drugs on time and the same way each day. You can alter your labs greatly if you do not stick to a specific schedule.
