Heart transplant 12/13, University of Washington; one of my docs says only drink bottled water; my research, however, indicates most bottled water brands are not as stringently treated and monitored as, for example, a public municipal water system; do most transplant recipients confidently use municipal water? Does anyone use bottled water? If so, what brand? Any other ideas on the subject? We live in a small community with it's own well and treatment system; the treatment system is monitored daily and tested monthly, not unlike and maybe better than a large municipal system; but I am getting a bit freaked by the possibility that there is no 100% safe alternative and am wondering what most folks do for drinking water; also wondering 'what's in there' with every glass of water I drink; thanks!

Hi Walt
I have a reverse osmosis unit under my sink. I try and brush my teeth with the same water. It would be a good idea to make a practice of using clean water.
Do not worry too much.
