Hello all, long time no post. I'm 2 1/2 years post liver transplant and everything is great. I'm on 1/1 prograf and 1/1 cellcept a day with good numbers. I do however seem to keep gaining weight, and my blood sugar is pre-diabetic. I'm no longer drinking 12+ beers a day, so I'm wondering if any other transplant friends have the same issues. Hope all is well.

I am glad that you are mostly doing well except for the weight gain and blood sugar. I wish I could be of help, but I have the opposite problem in that I need to gain and have a hard time doing so. If only I could take the weight you did not want and it would all be easier on the both of us. Hopefully someone else may be of more help. However, you have my best of wishes and hopes for positive change in this matter. May each day bring you new blessings.

I just joined this forum, so I apologize for the late reply. I'm 1 year out and I have also been gaining weight at a steady pace. I'm about 20 lbs. heavier than my normal weight and I keep gaining no matter what I do. No idea how to stop it. |
